Sustainable Energy Consulting offers a full range of energy audits for any existing operation and facility: survey, measurements and analysis of all energy ad water flows, processes and systems to reduce and monitor flows and consumption.
This is the first step to identify opportunities to reduce energy and water expenses and carbon footprints.
Four levels of analysis can be outlined:
- Level 0: This first analysis consists in a preliminary building energy use analysis based on the analysis of the historic, and determines if further analysis is required.
- Level I: This inspection is based on visual verifications, study of installed equipment and operating data and detailed analysis of recorded energy consumption collected.
- Level II: Detailed energy audit to provide a comprehensive analysis of the studied installation, a more detailed analysis of the facility, a breakdown of the energy use and a first quantitative evaluation of correction and improvement.
- Level III: Investment-Grade audit based on rigorous engineering study
The opportunities to reduce energy expense and carbon footprints are mainly:
- HVAC
- Pumps and Motors
- Chillers and Boilers
- Thermal Storage (hot and cold)
- Lighting
- Energy and Water Management Systems
- Power Generation and Distribution
- Co-generation, Tri-generation
- Power Quality
- Industrial Processes (e.g., compressed air systems)
